4. INSTALLATION GUIDE
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
□ Verify package contents are complete and undamaged |

4.2 Rack Installation
1U rack mount :
1. Position the PDU in the desired vertical location on the rear of the equipment rack
2. Attach mounting brackets to the PDU using the provided screws
3. Secure the PDU to the rack mounting rails using appropriate hardware
4. Verify stability - ensure the unit is securely mounted and will not shift during operation
4.3 Electrical Connection
WARNING: Ensure power is OFF before making connections
1. Connect the provided 1.8m BS1363 power cable to the Reserved Connection Interface for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or Utility Mains Power
2. Verify all connections are secure before applying power
3. Turn on the circuit breaker and verify power indicators illuminate
4.4 Sensor Connection
Connect optional environmental sensors to corresponding ports:
• Temperature/Humidity sensors → T/H port (RJ45)
• Water leakage sensors → WATER port (RJ11)
